I'm late to this party but it's All great advice above, especially the part about breaking an easyout or drill bit. IF that happens you're done......

I would remove it and tie it down vertical on the bench, then:

Soak it Soak it Soak it in PB blaster or equivalent.

Center punch and left handed drill bit as big as you can go without getting into the threads.

If need be after that;

1) Carefully easyout......

2) Apply heat to just the shaft (not the stud) and easyout again......

If still need be;

Get a Heli-Coil kit, drill it out completely and repair............ Good Luck
