A buddy of mine has the "beast" 390? and has 6:1 gears....I believe. The cart is a 36 volts (ez go), he removed the the pds and basically made it a series cart. Anyway, I will copy him on my next cart...he runs 27mph, burns rubber or wheelie out of the hole and has a ton of torque. It will climb straight up wall. I have seen this personally, he also has a 700 amp controller and 23" with a 6" lift. The entire conversion cost about 2k, well worth it..INMOP.
