Most likely a poor connection somewhere. Check connections at the solenoid, controller, motor, and FnR switch for any corrosion or burned cable ends. Check the FnR switch for an evidence of melting from getting too hot.
You can check that the motor is getting pack voltage when the solenoid clicks. With the FnR in either F or R and press the throttle so solenoid clicks, you should have pack voltage on both A and S terminals at the motor, and should have pack voltage all the way to the M- terminal at the controller.
Black meter lead should be on pack negative for this, or you can use the controller B- if that's easier to get to.
If you do not have voltage at one of those points tell us which point and we can work from there to figure out where power is not getting through.
