Does the LSV use an open ventilated motor like the old Tomberlin? Brushes have been know to pop right out of their holder. Do a simple ohm check on the motor. Jack it up, disconnect main positive & negative. Clip a DVM to A1 and A2. set meter to 200 ohm setting. put red on one motor lead and black on the other. rotate the wheel which rotates the motor and look for variation...
