I did not play around with the pedal when checking M and B, but can check later.

Do you feel pretty certain the motor has issues?
I followed instructions to a Tee. Used a charged Deep Cycle battery and heavy duty jumper cables for the power. For the jumper, I used a 10 gauge wire from an old trolling motor connector.
