Also planted food plots this spring. Usually we've done the fall planting, but this year I went with 4 types of clover and planted in the spring. Hopefully it will last 3 or 4 years before we have to plant again. Along with the clover there was an annual called rape. It's only good for one year, but it gives the clover good cover so the deer let it get established. One nice thing we had plenty of rain this spring so the food plots did good.

We cant plant too much here in out pine forest. But we run the feeders with corn. Our adjoining land owner is clearing his property and harvesting the pines so we are excited to see how that works for us.

I am headed out next week to cut some trails and hang a couple of new ladder stands.

I am getting itchy too. Cant wait for the first cool day.
