just a little info for some who may not know ... the lead stamp in neg post or the burned in lettering on the plastic is the date filled ,not the date made
D42GT. may be the production code
the "white" label is sometimes printed with the date filled
i have run into this problem with powertrons (trojan black)
they do have the fill date stamped on the neg post
also they have a sticker that is a punch out date code for when the dealer sells them
