Awesome. A couple notes for future consideration:
When you cart was creeping forward it actually wasn't running at all and the starter was pushing things along.
As you felt some air coming out of the exhaust means that everything internal within the engine is doing what it should so there was no need to worry about crank failure and such at that point.
