Hey man, Awesome Rig!! Looks a little familiar too. I like the Yanmar, what's the hp/tq rating on that monster? I don't know what the differences were/are between a Taylor Dunn or a Kalamazoo Speed Truck besides yours was electric and my WAS a gasser. When I first got mine it was hitting right around 30-35 depend on the slope, with gps. It only does 25-28 now. But instead of going hydraulic, why not go standard. I have a 3spd in mine and although I haven't found any of those specific transmission's I have found them for cushman haulsters and such. From there you could either fab and adapter plate or try to find the SAE bell housing you would need. It sounds kind of difficult, but just a bit easier than going hydraulic...Just an Idea. Take a look at some of my pics to get an idea of what I did with mine. Hopefully it helps.
