I am planning to rattle can my 2002 CC DS. I plan to do the following:

1. Scuff up with maroon scotch brite.
2. Clean with wax/grease remover.
3. Apply adhesion promoter.
4. Apply primer.
5. 3-4 coats of base.
6. 3-4 coats of clear.

Can I do all of this in one day? Or does it require down time?

I plan on using Rustoleum products from Home Depot. Can I apply the clear the same day? Or should I wait a couple of weeks?

Thanks for all input! First time painting. I've found a ton of great threads on the forum that helped me get a plan in place. Just unsure about the questions above.
