I removed the plastic body on my ez go to do body work and paint. I used a standard acrylic auto paint with no flex additive at all and have had no issues. That was over a year ago and it has no cracks or chipping.....and I have bumped it pretty hard a couple of times. I would not hesitate to do it the same way again.
