My '83 G1 and I thank you Master, and all others, for this excellent thread!
I've learned a wealth of information for my paint project. I was so used to painting metal and wood, I would have overlooked a few steps.
Especially the adhesion promoter area. Mine wasn't done right, and if I push on the front cowl, the paint literally cracks and falls off. Must've used cheap rattle can paint.
So, once again thank all of you for my daily schooling!
