I don't think it's a value thing as much as finding a buyer. That's likely a parts cart and, really, in the big scale of things there aren't a ton of cart tinkerers out there let alone one that would be close enough to you to scoop it up.

I was gonna say the same.
I see nice G1's for sale every now and then, running and in good shape generally see then listed around $1k asking price. And they dont sell fast... you usually see them listed for a good while before they sell or they give up and take the ad down to just keepnit.
