Should the fuel pump at least have gone on?

Should there have been any type of noise or movement on her?

Also, noticed that even with the key off and/or removed the buzzer goes off when I shift her into reverse. Should this be?

The fuel pump is not electric, it operates on pulse action via vacuum from the engine so no, the pump won't make a noise.
You should at least have the engine turning.
The buzzer will sound with the key off.
Assuming that all the wire connections are clean, bright and tight the first place to check is in the black box down by the battery. This is the location of the micros, 10 amp main fuse and solenoid. First make sure the fuse is ok, next operate the gas pedal and observe the action of the cam on the micros. You should hear a faint but audible click as they engage, finally the solenoid itself; check for voltage across the two small terminals when the throttle is depressed. No volts will likely point back to the micro switches, 12 volts would suggest the solenoid is at fault. You might also try bridging across the two large posts of the solenoid and see if the engine spins over.
Try all that and get back to us with your findings
