Take an ear plug - the kind that squeezes and expands and stick it in the hole. Your PDS will communicate any diagnostic issues THROUGH THE REVERSE BUZZER. You disable it - you loose that feature.

Also, the first time you get into the cart and THINK you're going forward, BUT zoom off in reverse - hitting something or someone, you'll remember this thread...
