Nice job Dave That stapler with the long "nose" is exactly what you needed to use for the job. Heat gun, yes, but be carefull not to burn/melt the material. I have used a close dryer on very low heat, to help make the covers more plyable and help with the wrinkles while installing. Another tip is to use a moist/wet towel and an iron to help get out the wrinkles after the install. Scotty, if you had to make a living installing seat covers on the Yamaha plastic seat's......You'd probably hate Yami's even more
