Default Re: need motor for a bad boy buggy

Bad Boy buggies are aptly named. They are overweight, underpowered and rated quite poorly in hunting forums. They change things every year sometimes twice per year and are extremely unfriendly to golf car mechanics who aren't in their dealer network.

The ones I see have two blue Sevcon controllers and two axles front and rear each with an independent shunt wound motor. The motor on the 48v versions is identical to TXT 48 shunt wound motors except it has no speed sensor.
