Thanks for the advice - come to think about it.....I may not have waited long enough with the jumper, will the meter deflect right away with the jumper or is there a delay as usual?

I'm pretty new to all of the components associated with golf carts, I'm assuming the low volt sensor is just after the 120v fuse block in the charger?
If I remember right there is a red wire along with a blue wire on the one side of this block and then the other side has a common (neutral to transformer) wire and a 120v wire.
