I just upgraded my 93 d's to an alltrax controller from Scottyb. I got the controller, hd solenoid and hd f&r switch. I also upgraded from 36 to 48 volt. I ran 2 gauge cables through the cart as well...after install I actually needed to turn down the torque a little because it peeled out in the grass pretty bad and on the street, with traction, if would have thrown my boys off the back...lol..I am using the stock motor. My top end is about 17 mph but it gets there quick. I used to completely crawl up steepish hills and now it it more than twice the speed up the same hills...some I hardly slow down at all.
