That is an '08 built the 3rd week of the year.

And if your batteries are low on electrolyte, add distilled water to cover the plates with 1/4" or so over them. The reason it was snappy was your batteries sat and the electrolyte recovered a little.

Please look on the battery for the date code. It iwll be a sticker or engraved number along the top edge. It may also be a stamp mark in the lead posts. Take a pic of what you find and we can tell you how old the batteries are.

In the meant time, check all water levels, charge the batteries (fully) and then wait 12 hours and take a reading at the pack with a digital volt meter and give us that reading. (and if it is not the batteries, it will be the speed sensor but lets get one thing at a time so we are not chasing a rabbit)
