The controller is a definitely a Curtis PMC 1204-015 36 volt, (24-36 volt) Did not have it all the way out of cart, (couldn't see all 6 sides). Would not know how to tell if it has been modified. The new bats will be 2 yrs old in Dec. As said, don't know how long ago it was boosted to 48 volts. Does indeed run like a scared rabbit, though!
