I ordered two Chevy Volt 12 cell lithium batteries and a volt meter off of ebay. These batteries are normal voltage 44.4 volts and 100% charged 50.4 volts.The board is a BMS to balance the individual cells in each battery. There is one on each battery. I am not using them to control the charger. I did enclose them in a waterproof case ( not pictured). I am keeping the stock 36 volt motor until it dies
. The first run on the cart with the batteries at 45.4 volts, no charger yet, was 25 mph on stock tires.
