You need to know what you want to end up with in order to get the right components. A 400 amp control is about 1/3 bigger than the stock control but so are your tires = break even. Add the shear weight of the racks and upgrades, trailers, hills.... your asking alot.
We can do it but you have to go top drawer to get top performance.
I suggest a SPM 500 with 400amp control, 2g cables, and a Reversing contactor conversion on 48v (6/8v)... all this rolling on 22" tires (not too big) with an eye on a custom D&D later down the road($5-600)..... cost is about $1000 for the electronics and cables. I hope this gives something to kick around
