Default Re: TXT 36 v state of charge meter

Took the cart out for a round , the state of charge showed full charge at the start, then on my return the state of charge showed 1/2 - 3/4 , I measured the voltage (37VDC) I then disconnected and reconnected the meter and it then went back up to full.
Am I going crazy???
Can some one explain to me is there any thing special about a state of charge meter. I just took it as it measures the voltage of the batteries and displayed the LED to indicate the voltage.
