Just a thought
Yes Dave. I've researched those and I prefer the "Master Lock" brand here:
Amazon.com: Master Lock 2953AT 12-Volt DC Portable Winch: Automotive Amazon.com: Master Lock 2953AT 12-Volt DC Portable Winch: Automotive

They are just so friggin slow.

I'm considering going more $$ and getting this: http://www.promarkoffroad.com/atv-wi...77-53105b.html

This Mile Marker 2HP has a line speed of 21.8 fpm at 500lbs, whereas the smaller Master Lock, and others like the one you cited, has around 6 fpm. It would take 2+ duty cycles to get the cart in the truck with those smaller winches.

Plus, the Mile Marker one uses the synthetic rope which I like as well.

But my inquiry was more geared toward structural mounting and electrical control.

Was hoping someone had already tackled those issues and wanted to see how they worked it out.
