You definitely need to chase all your wires to look for possible wear and being grounded. One area to ALWAYS check is where the motor wires wrap around the back batteries and turn towards the motor. But if it ran yesterday, plugged in and charged last night and is dead in the water today, then there are a few things to check, but jumping the solenoid (if it clicks) just to make sure the solenoid ins't the problem would be the first this I'd look at, after checking all your connections and cables...
