Default BBB 2014 Recoil IS Lithium Conversion

Hey Guys, I am helping a friend convert a Bad Boy Buggy to Lithium. We have a 250a 100ah 72v Lithium box. We are running into a couple problems and wanted to see if anyone could help us check further.
problem #1... We think everything is hooked up correctly and when we turn the switch on, the original meter turns on and shows full for a few seconds then we lose power. We have hooked 48v to the relay and verified its clicking and working. We are wondering if the new battery 72v (82v fully charged) is causing an overvoltage issue. any ideas on what to check? FYI, one time it turned on and work correctly and even went forwards and backwards, but when we turned the key off and back on, it tripped again.
Issue #2... The stock relay is 48v and the battery pack is 72v. What has others done to rectify this issue? We are thinking of replacing it with a 12v relay and hooking it to a secondary battery to power all 12v accessories. Anyone fixed this issue ?

The Lithium never tripped, it was the cart tripping and turning off everything.
Thanks for listening, Michael.
