I'm good on the hole count Dave but need to be reminded of the basics
Ok, I'm back from the lake for a few hours. Here's the deal:

I just "assumed" it was 36V cart but after scotty smacked me with the "Duh" hammer I actually looked at it. Yes, I had ignored the basics.
It's a 48V cart with 6 8V batteries (4 holes each), 5 of one kind 1/2 dry and one of those has a melted post with a wood screw holding the cable in it.
The 6th one is an old Trojan he said he just bought because one was bad, that one peaks at a whoppin 1.01Volts.
On top of all that he has replaced all of the cables with the junk "ford" type that you get from Wally World.

He needs a good kick for doing what he did But I need a double kick for overlooking the obvious.
He is buying batteries and cables for the weekend.
