Default Re: 93 DS Club Car with 48 volts

1 1/2 years later!!! It finally burned out. 48 volts powering a 36 volt controller and motor.

What controller would be least costly for this. Burned out one is assuming stock Curtis 1204-015, 275 amp, 24-36 volt. Something that will utilize current wiring?

I am seeing on FSIP, a Curtis 1204M-5023, 275 amp, 36/48 volt, 0-5 K or 5K-0 ohms.

Would this do the job? He has been very satisfied with the performance to this point. We have no idea how long this arrangement has worked. My friend bought the cart with this set up in 2014 and replaced batteries 2 years ago.

He probably got by for so long because our village is relative flat roads.
