I don't know of any EZGO cart with 12.55:1 gears.
The 14.78:1 (or something close to it) gears were installed in Workhorse models.
The specs on 1999 Medalist & TXT, Fleet & Freedom, 4 Caddy & Shuttle 2+2 all indicate 12.44:1 gears. (Specs are near the back of the attached manual)
