Ouch!

Lead-acid Deep-cycle Cart batteries need to be charged before first use and after each use, and should never be discharged more than 50%.

After reading how to break in new batteries, click on FAQs on the menu at the left side of homepage and read everything with the word battery in its title.

If the battery pack voltage is less than about 30V, your charger will not turn on. If so, you can use a 12V charger and charge the 6V batteries in pairs to get them up high enough to turn on the 36V charger.
