Default Re: high torque motor ?

Don't think you will need the high-torque motor for the driving you describe. High-Torque will get you off-the-line faster and help with consistent speed on grade and small inclines, but my PQ Bandit rebuild has been in for years and is a perfect fit for my community driving and golfing needs, i.e., solid speed and get-up-and-go. With all the additional requirements mentioned by scottinfla I get +25 mph on the flat and can hold 23 mph on all my community inclines. This is a fun project -- Enjoy!!
