Selecting the right motor depends on how tall of tires you put on it, the terrain it is driven on, how much weight will be carried and how fast you want to go.
The controller more or less depends on the motor used, but in general terms, overkill is underrated.
Lifting the cart is primarily for tire clearance and doesn't change the motor and controller requirements.
Figure out the tires height, desired speed and other stuff, then give D&D a call and they'll help you figure out what motor to use.
