We've checked all the connections including the key switch and the f/w micro switch. The only thing left is to check the micro switch inside the v glide.

Do we need to take out the batteries to be able to successfully get to the switch to test it? I can see the switch inside and I'd hate to go to all the trouble of taking out the batteries if I don't need to. btw... should I use a battery puller to get them out or is there some other better way?
