I have one of each for each side.. One steel, one aluminum..
I am guessing the aluminum is the intake and the steel is the exhaust..but
when I put the rocker arms and everything back that way (and I know this isnt a big deal) , they are both loose on similar sides..
Wouldn't the exhaust side need the steel rods ???

Anyway, I also went ahead and put the crankshaft back in today..
The seal shoulder is perfect, the clutch placement is perfect..so that part is set.

I sure appreciate your reply, I still need to find out why one is steel and the other is not..and where each goes...
