Check your solenoid by jacking up the rear of cart and making sure rear wheels are clear of ground, then blocking the front wheels so NO movement is possible and then by jumping the two large posts with a HD ( I use a jumper cable ) cable see if motor runs
( WARNING DONT LET IT RUN BUT A FEW SECONDS AND NOT RIGHT AFTER CHARGING BATTERYS AS BATTERY GASING CAN GO BOOM ) because you dont want the armature to blow up from over speed. You could get a face full of metal from motor??? Then if that works replace solenoid, if not then look at all wiring and contacts to and from your forward-reverse switch. If that is OK then I would say, after checking motor cables for condition and tightness that you have a motor problem of some kind.
NOTE WHEN CHECKING ANY CONNECTION ON MOTOR ALWAYS USE TWO WRENCHES SO AS TO NOT TWIST INTERNAL WIRING OFF.
