Just purchased an ezgo limo and i'm trying to figure out the year model. The body is made from metal, thinking it's pretty old. Any ideas? Thanks

From the manufacturers code I see 1988. A photo of the body and the engine would help.
Dave

ooops, sorry I though I was in the gas department, forget the photo of the engine business.

This is my first cart. Is anyone familar with this models pros and cons?

Bought it ($100) without batteries and the brakes dont seem to work, may

just need adjusting. It also came with the charger, not sure if it works

though. Very little rust on the frame, mostly surface rust.

Thanks guys!

Basically, you've got a blank canvas and the sky (and your wallet) is the limit.

If the frame is good, everything else is replaceable. Even if it isn't, frames can be repaired.

First thing is to identify exactly what you've got. Marathons came as resistor carts and with electronic speed controllers.

Next you have to figure out what you want to end up with, which will probably change along the way, so plan ahead. (IE: It's better to overbuild and underuse than it is to underbuild and overuse.)

You've got the makings of a nice vehicle.
