Transaxle locks-up in reverse - need help!
New owner of 2004 Precedent, and after my son did some driving today, you have to hold the forward/reverse lever in the forward position in order to stay in forward drive. When you put in reverse, in will no move. It appears the transaxle is "locked" when you put in reverse. The engine is running fine.
I checked the black trans lever on top of the trans, and it is tight and moves fine, but does pop out of forward very easy. The cart was purchased from a Club Car dealer, and was a factory trade-in. The car was/is in great physical condition with low hours. |
