2003 48v DS will not move

Good afternoon, I've got a 03 48 volt DS that will not move forward or reverse
When I press the accelerator pedal I hear a click from the solenoid, but that's it. After doing some checking I have found the following. I have 49.8 volts across the batteries. I have 48.3 on the yellow wire on the solenoid with the pedal not pressed. With the pedal pressed I have 49.7 v. On the motor on A1,F1,F2 Ihave 49.7v. On A2 I only have 37v. I don't know what the voltages should be. It has a Curtis 1510-5201 controller. I do not know any history of this cart because I bought it at a pawn shop as-is. Any help will be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

Do a test on the motor to rule it out as the culprit. Flip Tow/Run switch to TOW. Disconnect main positive and main negative battery terminals. Remove all four wires from the motor studs. Do an ohms/resistance test between posts A1 and A2. You should have continuity. Do it again between F1 and F2. You should have continuity there as well. Next do a test between each individual post and the metal case of the motor. You should not have continuity to any of the four posts to the case. If you do, you have a short and the motor is the problem. Post your results.

I have a continuity beep on the F's and not on the A's. I do not have continuity from the single post to the motor case. so I'm guessing the motor is bad?

Yep. The motor is definitely an issue. You can replace the brushes if that's the only issue. You won't know until you take it apart and look inside. I recommend replacing it with an Admiral high speed motor. It'll make it run a few MPH quicker than before.

helped a buddy today with a cart maintenance shop.
Had a 36 v today wit same symptoms

, good volts
38.6 volts across batts, & at solonoid

Guy said he cleaned the batts
It Worked last year (snow bird, got here few days ago)

Jacked it up. Solonoid clicks when press go
After following the volts all the way to controller.

Was about to jump into vglide....controller...motor
Noticed a washer under the neg battery terminal, 4 wires on it, not real clean.

After removing washers, (were under every connection & oily) , cleaned terminals & connection,.
Fwd/Rvs work fine on jack
Let it down. He drove it home a bit embarrassed

Sometime you have good voltage but not enough current to move anything but the solonoid.

That's what I figured. You're very welcome.
