Question about wiring voltage reducer and voltage meter to key switch

I'm in the process of installing a voltage reducer for my 2004 EZGO TXT Series cart. Also, I have a battery voltage meter to mount on the dash. The instructions and diagrams for both of these say to connect to the back of the key switch. The back of my key switch has 2 spade connections, one with a blue wire and one with a green. Which of these should the new components attach to? And also, how do I go about connecting multiple wires to one spade terminal? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

most just cut the wire and crimp in the wires using a but connector
connect as many wires as you need , with the right size but connector
