08 rocker switch doing opposite;R=forward,F=reverse

My 2008 club car ran perfect, until i took out my batteries to wipe down area and being careful not to hit any wires. after i reinstalled batteries, i now have my rocker switch doing the opposite.

When I place in forward postion the cart drives backwards and the rocker switch in reverse drives forward with buzzing noise.

i thank you

You wired it back up wrong! Get the proper wiring diagram and fix it.

its so easy to put a cable or wire in the wrong place even when you do 1 at a time.......its like i did 1 at a time theres no way...............way.............anyways if everything was fine before hand than its just something you did and should be a simple easy fix..........................8)

Just maybe two wires on your controller came undone
there are two wires on top of the controller with spade terminals reverse these and try again!!

Look for a Blue and an Orange wire spade end that attached to your controller and reverse them.

If you took out your F&R switch you can just reverse the wires on it also, leaving the center wire alone.

If you took off the wires on your motor F1 and F2, reverse them and you will correct the F&R issue.

You must have done one of the three above for this to happen... your choice as to how you want to correct it... just make sure you do only one:thumbup:

We assume that you have the right Main (+) and the right Main (-) cables on their respective battery terminals as well!!!
