Gas Guy on Electric F/R Switch ?

Ok I was nominated to work on a 97 36volt non - dcs cart. Some idiot had gotten ahold of this cart, and the only wires hooked up right were the ones from batt. to batt. . Luckily they removed the wire from B+ to the solenoid. I have gotten all of it rewired thanks the diagrahms on here. The solenoid is functioning, controller seems to be working. No to the forward reverse switch. Should I have power at all 4 studs all the time when pedal is engaged? Any breakdowns on it and the motor would help. Thanks

Well I need to tell if it is functioning. I know controller, solenoid and batts., are functioning. Just not sure of foward/reverse switch or motor. I know that I have 36 volts presnt at all 4 terminals at all times with pedal down.

Uber, I don't have a controller cart but, looking at ruredy's diagram either S1 or S2 should have power not both as one must be forward and the other reverse!
Do you have a diagram for your cart?
Sounds like the prob is in the F/R switch.

If you can link me to it I can see what you are working with. Do you see that you can't have two hots to the motor at the same time time ? This has to be your problem, logically speaking..
