Spindle Lift Added To Drop Lift

Haven't looked in any past post, I have 2005 TXT gas EZGO with 5'' drop axle lift. Thought I might lift the cart a little higher, I've got 2.5 inch spacers ready to be installed for each wheel and wanting to know if anyone has added spindle lift to drop lift. Will it work or make the cart unstable? Not using the cart offroad, Only on gravel, grass & pavement.

You're going to have to drop the front motor mount if you lift it that much.

A co-worker did the same thing, got the factory 5" lift and than put a jakes 6" on top of that. He is running 30" ATv tires. His cart is electric so the frt motor mount is no problem. He just rides it aournd the hous, no offroad. He did have to upgrade motors and controller.

I havn't seen it, just going by what he said.

I am pretty sure it is doable, but you will have to use common sense when driving it.

Wouldn't it make the tie rod down kinda low, I'd be afraid of it hitting something. Just a thought.

I know you haven't seen it, but I wonder how far out the steering geometry would be.

if you want it taller i'd go with blocks between the springs and body, you could fit huge tires on with that combo. if you going with some 44" tires though you'll need to re-think your whole dropaxle setup. anything over 6" lift and you need to drop the engine in the front, they starve for oil when setting at those angles
