GE magnet replacement
The magnet broke off of the washer as I was trying to remove it. Now the washer doesn't seem to want to budge. Does anyone have any hints for getting it off once this happens. I tried a cutting wheel on a dremel, but not enough room. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Same thing happened to me. I went to harbor freight and bought a cheap pair of vise grip ( knock offs) needle nose.
I was able to get that small vise grip right in there and clamp it on , and wiggle it right off. |

Yes I used a paint can opener. One that has a hook on the end. Slipped that behind the washer and gradually worked it around the washer and it came off. Now I did WD-40 it and let it set for 15 minutes first.
