How Fast is Your Cart?
 

Hello, I am a new guy and started a thread regarding my 99 st350 and how slow it is. I thank those of you that tried to help. here is the thread

I have heard and read about carts reaching 37 mph
I still can not get top speed out of mine. so instead of guessing I thought I would ask, What kind of speed are you getting from your cart. Let me know the year, make , and engine size. mine is a 99 st350 15mph is my top speed

88 EZGO Marathon, stock 2pg (244cc 2-stroke 9hp), HEI ignition, high-output coil, 22X11-8's, 23mph on the flats with governor disabled and 19mph as I have the governor set (I like the governor - too many drinkin' buddies drive her to take the chance on over-revving the motor)

01 Yamaha G-20 Limo all stock about 11/12 mph with the Gov. zip tied 18/20 mph. Thats with 18 inch tires or stock.

I should say my cart is stock 99 st350 with 22x11x10 tires 350 robin 11hp

Mine is a 98 TXT, 26 inch tires, electric...26mph, yeah that's right, ELECTRIC

This won't help much because of the motor but thought I would throw it out there anyway.
G9 Yamaha, 500cc Suzuki quad motor, 53mph before Rhobyn started poking me in the ribs, still had pedal left.:lhmo::lhmo:

Check your clutches, in neutral, how high does the belt get in the drive(front) clutch at WOT?

Hey Crash - how bad was the handling once you got up to speed? I've had to mess with the toe on mine a few times now, still can't quite get it to where I'm comfy much over 20 or so - musta been one HELL of a ride, hahahaha

18 MPH EZGO PDS with freedom chip, rear seat and stock wheels and tires

I get about 18 out of mine, want to get it alittle over 20 just for riding on long flat stretches.

I have a 95 that I get 18 mph with a 14 inch lift and 28 inch tires.
