2022 Icon i40FL programming ? - Motor shows 6600RPM MAX

Was working on reprogramming my new cart. Things initially seemed good, but at some point in time it seems like the max motor RPMs changed to 6600 from 7200 and will not let me set any settings any higher than 6600. I am99% sure that I had it at 7100RPM and a higher MAX speed prior to whatever happed that set it to 6600.

02.01.10 Motor MAX Speed MAX = 6600

Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix?

Appreciate any ideas anyone has. Thanks!

What else did you change? Did you save your initial settings?
I've never seen any that are not 7200 max. Did you change any of the motor parameters?

No. The last setting I changed before I noticed the RPMs was 8.3.1 for regenerative braking.

I am almost positive I had changed 10.01.07 to 7100 (which also upped the kph setting 03.02.01). Now 6600 is as high as 10.01.07 will go.

Unfortunately, like a knucklehead, I dont have a backup. Was keeping notes of what all I changed.

Doesnt seem like there should have been any way for me to change the max RPM setting for the motor.

I assume your cart is brand spanking new? It seems that new carts have a max limit of 6600 vs the older ones with 7200. At 6600 you should get about 27mph. I have a new LVtong controller and its max is also 6600.

I dont plan to adjust the gear or tire ratios to increase it, but it should be possible.

And the kph value is now forced lower than before too.

Max speed is a factor of the max motor RPM and gear ratio.
That sucks they are limiting it to 6600rpm. But depending on gear ratio that may be wise since so many people are modifying with software now. They are probably monitoring the facebook groups.

I've had mine up to 37mph which is very fast and feels very unstable.

Ah! Appreciate the info. Yes, it is brand new. Glad I am not losing my mind here.

I just want it to run at 30 so I am not slowing up traffic on the roads.

What version fw is the controller running?

Firmware 200 here too. I know Advanced has been updating their programs. It appears the set a new, lower max value to limit top end.

I wonder what would happen if you loaded a config with a 7200 rpm limit on the controller...
