2022 Icon Programming Issues

I put together a cable as instructed in this thread using the same parts https://buggiesgonewild.com/showthre...22+programming. All I get is red blinking com light and this popup "Drive or Program updated, need to reload this viewer:" that will not go away. I set the baud to 38400 on the port in device manager and changed the jumper to 5v. Drivers were installed automatically when I plugged in the device. I tried the manual driver install from another thread as well. Device shows normally in device manager. I have a 450A controller if that makes any difference and verified I do in fact have the newer 2022 controller, not the NEOS controller. Any thoughts?

Have you double checked everything? Right cable right software etc? See my post here for check list. Just because the computer recognizes the cable doesn’t mean it’s right. The computer will recognize it and install drivers even with bare wires hanging out… https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/showthread.php?t=183445

Yes the IconLive screenshots for the 2022 are what I’m seeing. What driver should it be using?

What version of windows are you using. Some people have had trouble with windows 11 but usually on windows 11 they have trouble with the drivers installing. Yours sounds like the drivers are fine if windows is recognizing it. Sounds like maybe wired wrong. Check it again. Watch your pins too. 1 of them has voltage and could fry something in the controller if pinned wrong!

I got it working now, one of the connections in the molex connectors wasn't being made. A little bit of elbow grease did the trick.
