rear wheel noise on 2003 DS
I am new to the forum and to golf carts. We have a 2003 CC DS. It makes a noise at the driver's side rear wheel that is only heard when moving very slowly. I pulled the wheel and hub thinking that the rear brakes were dragging on the hub. That's what it sounds like. It was not rubbing. When I rotate the axle, I feel it turn easily and then it gets harder and I can hear a faint noise when it gets tighter. The opposite side doesn't do this. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Are there bearings where the hub enters the axle tube?
Thanks Brian |

Are those bearings hard to replace? Any instructions on how to do this?

Did the pads look like they were in good shape? Much pad left?

Re: rear wheel noise on 2003 DS
Yes the pads looked good. It didn't look like the brakes were dragging. it feels like that but it doesn't look like it.

Any chance you may still have this DIY info? It appears the links are bad now. I am having the same problem on my '04 DS
