Golf Cart Kick-Off Event

Please join the City of Sanford on Saturday, March 16th at 9am-11am to celebrate and “Kick-Off” Sanford’s newly established golf cart ordinance.

Drive your golf cart and join Mayor Jeff Triplett at 9am at Oak Avenue and Second Street in Sanford, as the Mayor leads the community in a parade of golf carts from Oak Ave. and Second St. through Downtown Sanford to the event location at 300 E. First St.

If you own a golf cart and want to participate in Saturday’s Kick-off and your golf cart is not presently registered with the City of Sanford, on Saturday, March 16, golf cart owners will be given a grace period from 8am-1pm to drive their golf carts to and from the parade location and/or the event location in order to participate in this kick-off and to register their golf carts on-site.

For your convenience, the City will be registering golf carts and the Sanford Police Department will also be available to inspect your golf cart, at the event site, 300 E. First St. (Checks will be the only accepted form of payment at this event).

Golf cart vendors will be participating in the kick-off as well.
