2003 par car eagle not moving

I checked out a par car today, serial 5e-31707-E3 36v electric

When you step on the go pedal I hear the motor spinning but the cart doesn’t move. Any ideas?

stripped axle shaft spline or hub spline is common. Might be the motor spline or input shaft spline, but less common.
